Dr. Yang is recently Chief of Center for Faculty Development, Faculty of Medicine, School of Medicine, National Yang Ming University and director of Department of Medical Education, Taipei Veterans General Hospital. She received her M.D. from National Yang Ming University in 1989 and then received Pediatrics training in Taipei Veterans General Hospital. After specialty training, she has served as an Attending Physician of Department of Pediatrics, Taipei Veterans General Hospital since 1998. Dr. Yang went to Texas Children’s Hospital, Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and served as a Clinical Researcher from 1997 to 1998. In 2000, she obtained her PhD from Institute of Clinical Medicine, National Yang Ming University. She was previously Chief of Division of Immunology and Nephrology, Department of Pediatrics, and Faculty Development Center, Department of Medical Research and Education in Taipei Veterans General Hospital. Dr. Yang has devoted to advancements in medical education and faculty development for many years. Currently, she focuses on how to leverage the web, computers and new technology for research, teaching and innovation in medical education.
